Annual Meeting & Board Election

We will host the SRCA Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 4. This year homeowners will vote for two seats on our volunteer board. Stay tuned for voting details coming soon. We’ll provide online voting, absentee ballots, and proxy forms here as of February 1.

For the first time this year, we are hosting a hybrid meeting with both in-person participants and online viewers. We’ll post online viewing instructions here in February.

Due to the global pandemic, we highly encourage all residents to vote early (by Monday, March 1) and livestream the event (on Thursday, March 4). Even if you plan to attend the meeting in person, there are multiple reasons for you to vote early. Please note:

  • Early voting helps us ensure that we reach the required quorum. Staff and volunteers breathe a sigh of relief when we achieve a quorum, and they are always happy to report that milestone to all our homeowners. We usually meet the goal several days before the meeting. Will you help us break that record in this pandemic year.
  • The livestream of the meeting does not provide two-way communication, nor can we verify your identities via the livestream. Thus, the online viewers of the meeting cannot be counted toward the meeting quorum or vote in the election unless they vote early.
  • The in-person meeting will have a headcount capacity due to COVID-19. Early voting ensures your participation in the meeting quorum whether or not we reach room capacity.
  • For the safety of our in-person attendees, Board members, and staff, we want the entrance lines to move quickly and efficiently, with as little contact as possible between people. If you vote early and attend in person, you’ll help reduce the wait time and contact points required for you to sign in.

Stay tuned for how-to details to be posted here as of February 1. Thank you!
